The old rectory of Boente:

your guesthouse full of charm and history, located directly on the Camino Francés and the Camino Primitivo at 47 km from Santiago

Recently the old residence of the priests of Boente has been converted into a welcoming guesthouse with lots of personality in order to offer a place of rest and recovery to the pilgrims of the Camino Frances and the Camino Primitivo.

The main stone house hosts the common areas such as reception, dining room and lounge with its fireplace.

Right next to the main house is the old barn which has been converted into eight double rooms. Each one with a private bathroom and an individual porch or balcony facing the sunset.

The buildings are located in the center of 17,000 m2 of garden, with various terraces, an orchard and a vegetable garden.

Once recovered from the recent walk, the pretty village of Boente invites to take a stroll and to socialize with the other pilgrims that choose Boente as their overnight stop.

To round up the day, we offer you a solid family style dinner based on local produce in the common dining room. And if the weather plays along, we light up the firepit and lean back to contemplate those stars that have been guiding the relentless pilgrims over so many days now.

And who knows….., after all this, you may decide to stay another night with us, and use of the local taxi shuttle to return to Boente after finishing your next stage.

Welcome!
